The Meyer May House restoration was completed in 1987.
“This carpet, using squares and abstracted leaf motifs repeated throughout the house, is one of the reproductions made exclusively for the May house (pages 82-83) when it was restored. Wright often used similar chevrons as stand-ins for natural foliage.”

The book lists 1908 as the year of the May House construction, and the May House web site lists it as 1909. The year of the restoration (1987) is suspect as well.
